Raiffeisen Bank and Tirana Municipality inaugurate the library at Aleks Buda school in Tirana


Tirana Municipality in the framework of the social and educative programs, in order to provide with contemporaneous premises the children and the young people of Tirana, expands the collaboration with one of the most important banking institutions, Raiffeisen Bank.

In continuation of the joint project “Public-private partnership- for community development” between Tirana Municipality and Raiffeisen Bank, two schools in Tirana respectively, high school “Aleks Buda” and 9-year school “Siri Kodra” are equipped with libraries. On this occasion, it is organised an inauguration ceremony where participated Mr. Edi Rama, Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Robert Wright, Board Member for Retail Banking at Raiffeisen Bank. Students and teachers of this school as well as written and electronic media representative also attended the ceremony.

The students of high schools “Aleks Buda” will have now the possibility spend their educative hours in the new and contemporaneous environment, by exchanging information with each-other and get knowledge which is very important for their development.

“Raiffeisen Bank is very happy that has financed the establishment of these libraries. We will continue to give our contribution in the education of the new generation of the country”, said Mr. Robert Wright in front of those present in the ceremony.

In supporting this project, under the slogan “Donate a book”, the administrative staff of Tirana Municipality has donated books for the library of this school by adding a new fund of books and with the aim to expand this initiative even further in other institutions.
