Raiffeisen Bank introduces its very first digital branch which will ease banking services for clients

Raiffeisen Bank has launched the very first digital bank branch, a novelty in the Albanian banking sector. This branch will make service delivery fast and secure for clients. It provides the right equilibrium between technology and human aspect and will drive the culture of digital services in the country.

The project kicked off on September 1st with two pilot branches in the Embassies Block and Ali Demi Road. All cash deposits and withdrawals in Lek or Euros will only be available in the ATM machines. Other bank services will also be available through digital platforms offered in these branches. In an effort to improve the banking experience, the bank personnel will be available to provide assistance and guidance.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Eduard Shalsi, State Minister for Enterprises, Mr Lyubomir Punchev, Board Member for Retail Businesses, Vilma Bace, Head of Sales, and Distribution Channels at Raiffeisen BANK Albania as well as media representatives. 

During the press conference, Mr.Punchev, Board Member for Retail Businesses said that Raiffeisen Bank is committed to offer services that make up an added value for this ongoing tech innovation. "We are pleased to share with you another novelty presented by Raiffeisen Bank to share it with all its clients. The two pilot digital branches are part of our strategy of digital transformation. This model offers a unique experience in the banking sector in full harmony with our clients' needs. Raiffeisen Bank is a market leader in terms of innovative services it offers to its clients, mentioning here the digital platform Raiffeisen ON as well as the banking assistance offered through the first Chatbot in the banking sector in Albania (RONA). This does not stop us from continuing our mission, to offer an excellent banking experience, constantly improving and following step by step the needs of our customers,” he said. 

 Minister Shalsi added: " I am very enthusiastic about the digital transformation that is taking place in the banking system in Albania and how the products and services of the well-known bank Raiffeisen Bank are increasingly coming close to the requirements of customers, as individuals or entrepreneurs. The new digital branch I visited is good news that proves how in the not too distant future it will be served near the bank in a completely digital way."
