Raiffeisen Bank sponsors the reconstruction of the concert room and the donation of a piano for the music School “Prenk Jakova” Shkoder

Raiffeisen Bank has sponsored the full reconstruction of the concert room of the music School “Prenk Jakova” Shkoder. Also in collaboration with Energy Ashta have donated a piano for this school under the framework of the project “Mozaik 2011”.

On this occasion it was organized an inauguration ceremony in the premises of this school. In this ceremony were present the  Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Myqerem Tafaj and the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank, Mr.Christian Canacaris, Austrian Ambassador in Albania, Mr. Florian Raunig, representatives of the Shkodra Regional Educational Directorate and Municipality, local authorities, teachers and students of the school, etc.

After the cutting of ribbon by the abovementioned personalities, the students of the music School “Prenk Jankova”, gave a concert in the new concert room for the participants.

“I am very proud to be here today in this inauguration ceremony and at the same time I am very happy that Raiffeisen Bank with its contribution made possible the reconstruction of this concert room. We helped in this way in the improvement of educational environment as well as in the development of students’ needs by donating the piano. Raiffeisen Bank has always supported the education sector and especially in Shkodra we have contributed for several educational and cultural projects. On behalf of Raiffeisen Bank, I wish success to all of you and I strongly believe that we will continue to support the education sector in the future”, said the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank, Mr. Christian Canacaris during his speech.

Raiffeisen Bank has contributed a lot in Shkodra region through the collaboration with the Municipality and Education Directorate. Considering that the main focus of sponsorship policy of Raiffeisen Bank is the education sector, and this sector is very important for the bank in Shkodra region, our Bank has sponsored several projects and activities in this direction.
