Raiffeisen Bank organized for the first time in Albania a dedicated Cloud event

Raiffeisen Bank Albania, as a leading financial institution dedicated to continuous innovation, brings on February 23-24 an event completely dedicated to Cloud technology. "Let's get cloud", a 2-day event happening for the first time in Albania, brought together industry experts, leaders of thinking and enthusiasts of the field to discuss the latest advancements, innovations, benefits and challenges in this field.

Innovation in the banking system is essential in today's technological landscape and the adoption of Cloud technology has proven to be a necessity in the banking industry, providing high efficiency and security.

Cloud technology has revolutionized the way banks do business, and how information is stored and shared, bypassing the use of a physical device and opening a completely new dimension on the Internet. Thanks to the transfer of information to the Cloud there is now possible, a flexible, scalable and cost-effective solution for data storage and processing. Thanks to this technology, Raiffeisen Bank has transformed its operations, offering more secure and efficient services to customers.

The first day of the conference brought together a panel of experts in the field from various industries such as Amazon, Raiffeisen Bank International, and Vodafone Albania as well as representatives from Fintechs, who shared their knowledge and experiences on migration strategy, security, innovation and the future of Cloud technology.

While the second day was dedicated to the "Amazon Web Service Game Day" competition, where professionals from the IT field, students and bank staff had the opportunity to apply to be part of the competition and compete for three winning prizes. The event was a great success and gathered over 600 applicants and over 400 participants.
