Culture has the power to change mindsets and transform the vision of society, so with this aim, Raiffeisen Bank Albania as a supporter of the diversity and inclusiveness initiative supported the Open Mind Spectrum Albania (OMSA) center in the realization of the 3rd edition "Queer Film Festival", which was organized from October 26-30 in Tirana.
This is a unique festival, with the aim of educating the general public about acceptance, diversity, and solidarity, but above all contributing to the reduction of verbal and physical violence for people from the LGBTI+ community.
During the 5 days of this festival, various workshops and open discussions were organized, with the participation of well-known Albanian characters, and 16 short films were shown and for the first time, an Albanian film was also shown.
The special guest of this edition, Vladimir Luxuria, made it possible to give even more voice to some of the pop icons who have always inspired the artistic path of this community.
Among other things, this edition was an indispensable networking meeting point for the LGBTQI + industry attended by producers, producers, exhibitors, and filmmakers from all over the world.
