
Important Notice for Customers – Beware of Fraudulent Messages (Smishing)
Dear customers,
We have noticed several attempts of fraud through SMS, known as "smishing." Some of our clients have received messages using the Bank's name, asking them to click on fake links such as raiffeisen-lidhje.com/ raiffeisen-lajm.com, claiming that it's necessary to reactivate your online account. Please do not visit these links and do not share your information. These messages aim to snip your personal and financial information.
How does smishing work?
Messages typically contain:Suspicious links asking you to click to “confirm” or “verify” something,Threats of account closure or suspicious activities,Promises of rewards or gifts that do not exist.
Please note:
Messages from our Bank are always sent from our official addresses or numbers.We will never ask you to share personal data via SMS or click on external links.
What should you do if you receive such an SMS?
Do not click on any links from suspicious accounts; always manually enter the Bank's official address.
Never share with suspicious sites:
- Personal information (name, surname, SSN, mobile number)
- One-time codes (OTP)
- Your bank card details
- Login credentials for e-banking or mobile applications
- Contact the Bank immediately if you suspect any unusual communication at Tel: 042 381 381 or at info@raiffeisen.al.
Beware!
Smishing is one of the most widespread forms of cyber fraud.
The goal is to gain access to your data or compromise accounts and financial systems.
Protection starts with awareness – stay vigilant and do not trust any message that demands urgent action.
