Interest Rate 6.5% fixed for first 5 years and NEI: 7.49%
The loan installment for the first 5 years is 11,354.8 lekë to be paid monthly (includes principal + interest) If the client receives his salary at Raiffeisen Bank, after the first 5 years the interest will be 12-month Treasury Bills variable annually + 8.4% If we assume that the value of the Treasury Bills will be what it is currently, then the interest on the loan will be: 2.444% + 8.4% = 10.844% The loan installment calculated with this interest, for the following years will be 12,572.65 lekë.
The total amount payable for the loan in the amount of 1,000,000 Lekë is
1,435,646.91 Lekë.
This total amount may vary depending on changes in the 12-month Treasury Bill Interest Rate and the minimum interest rate applied to the requested loan.
Borrowing in a currency other than the one in which the income is generated is associated with significant risks. For example, if your income is in Lek and you take out a loan in Euro, the increase in the Euro exchange rate would cause difficulties in your ability to repay the loan as the value of the installment would increase. These difficulties could lead to failure to repay the loan and deterioration of the status to “problematic” and even the initiation of compulsory execution procedures by the bank.
